Followup Ultrasound

Mom had an ultrasound today but I stubbornly refused to move and the doctor saw something with the placenta and umbilical cord that wasn't good so they sent mom to the hospital again. This time they said that they were giving her steroids for my lung development and trying to hold out until she had had all three needles.

Day 4

We've been here at the hospital for 4 days now and mom is ITCHING to get out of here. They are letting her go home on bedrest with a nurse coming to see her 4 times a week at home. She is getting sent home with a blood sugar monitor and a blood pressure machine and ordered off her feet.

Monthly Checkup

My mom had her regular checkup this afternoon. The due date keeps changing ..it started out as March 18, Daddy's birthday, all the way to April 2nd. The nurse checks her blood pressure and its way too high. Dr Chang comes in and asks mom about how she is feeling. "Exhausted. Take me off work please." Dr Chang takes her blood pressure again and says "I hope you're not planning to return to work today?" "I'm off today." "Good, I'm sending you to Rockyview to get checked out." Scared, mom's heart races even worse and off she goes to the hospital where she is checked in.
